Is there any way to blend cymbals in DT? I mean, I can have it hit multiple times at different volumes but in the interest of a more realistic sound, I was wondering if any of you knew of a way. Thanks.

One way to do this would be to create multiple cymbal samples.

For example, if you have a "Crash" cymbal using the sample "Crash.mp3", you would just add an additional drum to your kit ("Crash-2") using the same sample ("Crash.mp3"). You can add as many cymbals as you want to hear overdubs for using this method.

Hope that helps.
